Collection: Fancy Goldfish
Fancy Goldfish are Goldfish that have been selectively bred to be more aquarium conditioned than traditional comet and sarasa comet Goldfish. These fish have rounder bodies and stay smaller than traditional Goldfish, but still require a minimum of 75 gallons for just 1 of them to thrive when full sized. They do not do well in cold water (usually 55 degrees and under) and cannot tolerate heat (Temps higher than 68) for long periods of time. They still do not have a stomach like traditional Goldfish, so they are still very high waste creatures. Proper filtration and nutrient export methods are vital.
