Blue Spotted Toby Puffer

Blue Spotted Toby Puffers are great additions to tanks that you don’t mind losing clean up crew members. Sometimes they are able to go into reef tanks (like my personal one I’ve had for 5 years now!), but a lot of times they will tear corals up and eat any snails, hermits, and other inverts. I have mine housed with a few starfish, a horseshoe crab, a cleaner shrimp, and a tiger tail cucumber with no issues. I have had plenty of customers return these fish due to their aggressive behavior towards inverts, so you must be willing to take a risk if you want to have one of these in a reef tank.
