Navarchus Angelfish (Pomacanthus navarchus) – Majestic Beauty of the Reef

Overview:
The navarchus angelfish, also known as the majestic angelfish, is a stunning marine species prized for its vibrant coloration and graceful demeanor. This regal fish is a gem in any saltwater aquarium, bringing a splash of blue and yellow to the aquatic landscape. Ideal for experienced aquarists, the navarchus angelfish requires a well-maintained environment to thrive.

Appearance:
Adult navarchus angelfish boast a deep blue body contrasted with bold, yellow stripes that highlight their contours and a striking yellow tail. Juveniles display a darker color with lighter blue vertical stripes, gradually transitioning to their adult hues as they mature.

Care Requirements:
- Tank Size: A minimum of 180 gallons is recommended to accommodate their need for swimming space and territory.
- Water Conditions: Maintain water temperatures between 72°F and 78°F, with a pH level of 8.1 to 8.4. Stable water quality and regular maintenance are crucial.
- Environment: Provide plenty of live rock for grazing and hiding. A well-structured setup with caves and crevices will mimic their natural reef habitat and support their well-being.

Feeding:
