Scopas Tang

The Scopas Tang is a very active fish that is naturally a grazer, so it’s important to provide these fish with the proper tank size and nutrition. Supplementing seaweed strips and feeding at least once daily is a requirement for keeping these guys happy and healthy. Juveniles have a slight tint that seems purplish/neon but will fade away as they age and their colors transition to a darker brown and yellowish colors. As they age and grow larger they will require more room, so it’s best to provide them with a minimum of 90 gallons right off the bat to make sure they live a happy life.
