Sexy Anemone Shrimp

The Sexy Anemone Shrimp gets its name from the “sexy” twerking it does with its abdomen as a defense mechanism to warn off predators. This shrimp is a great addition to any nano tank with tiny fish, as even most small ocellaris clowns post a threat to these guys. They naturally are found in Mini Maxi carpet anemones, but will go in just about anything willing to host them. This can sometimes annoy corals, especially if these sexy shrimp steal food from the mouth of the corals, so be cautious with coral placements and choices. Like all marine inverts, they require a very delicate acclimation process.
