Spotted Blue eyed Gertrude’s are a fish that schools in large numbers and has beautiful coloration, specifically in the males. These fish stay very small so more numbers in the school to make them feel safe will allow them to thrive. They come from thickly vegetated rivers across New Guinea, Australia, and even Indonesia! It’s important to provide them with a heavily planted tank with moderate to higher hardness as they do not adapt well to low hardness tanks.
