Threadfin Geophagus

The Threadfin Geophagus also known as the Threadfin Acara is a fairly peaceful fish when kept in proper group size in comparison to the size of the aquarium they are housed in. These fish originated from the basin of the Amazon but have been populating waters in Asia, particularly thriving in Singapore. They’ll accept most prepared foods, just ensure they’re receiving enough nutrients.
