CaribSea's story began in 1950s Cuba with founders Dick and Nancy Greenfield, and since 1972 the company has remained on the leading edge of closed-system development by matching substrate mineralogy and hardscapes to the universe of microbiology. Now in the hands of a second generation of scientifically trained aquarists, CaribSea supplies the world's most prominent zoos, public aquariums, and research facilities.
