A Lifelong Hobbyist
Cameron's passion for aquatics didn't start in a university lab — it started at home, over 25 years ago. Long before he could name the scientific classifications, he was captivated by aquatic life. What started as childhood wonder grew into serious expertise through decades of hands-on experience, relentless learning, and a genuine love for the hobby.
At 16, he landed his first job at a fish store, turning passion into profession. Since then, he's never looked back. From freshwater planted tanks to complex marine reef systems, Cameron has built, maintained, and troubleshot setups of every kind.

Cameron's love for aquatic and amphibious life doesn't stop at fish. He has a deep fascination with frogs, salamanders, and newts — animals that bridge the gap between aquatic and terrestrial worlds.
