Livestock Guarantee Policy
Read this before you buy livestock from us. Our guarantee depends entirely on whether the animal went through our Quarantine Program, and how you take delivery. There are four tiers. They are not the same.
1. Non-Quarantined Livestock — 1 Hour DOA Only
Coverage: 1-hour dead-on-arrival guarantee. Nothing else.
Non-quarantined livestock is priced competitively because it has not gone through our quarantine facility. It comes straight from our holding systems. If an animal arrives dead, you must notify us with photo/video documentation within 1 hour of delivery or pickup.
There are no refunds, no returns, and no store credit on non-quarantined livestock beyond that 1-hour DOA window. Once the animal has been in your care for more than an hour, it is yours. This is not negotiable, and it applies regardless of species, price, or how long you have shopped with us.
If you buy non-quarantined livestock, we strongly recommend you run your own quarantine tank. Adding an unquarantined animal directly to an established display is the single most common way hobbyists lose an entire system.
2. Quarantine Program — Shipped: 48 Hour Live Guarantee
Coverage: 48-hour live guarantee from the moment of delivery.
Every animal in our Quarantine Program collection has spent 4–6 weeks in our quarantine facility: prophylactic treatment, confirmed feeding on prepared foods, and daily observation by our staff before it is listed.
If a quarantined animal arrives dead or dies within 48 hours of delivery, contact us with photo/video documentation and unopened-bag proof where applicable, and we will make it right.
3. Quarantine Program — In-Store Pickup: 14 Day Live Guarantee
Coverage: 14-day live guarantee. One condition.
You must bring us a water sample from the aquarium the animal is going into, and we must test it, before you take the livestock home.
This is not a formality. Most livestock losses trace back to water chemistry the buyer did not know was off. We test it, we tell you what we see, and if the parameters are safe you walk out with a 14-day live guarantee. If we do not test a sample before pickup, the 48-hour guarantee applies instead.
4. Maintenance Clients — 6 Month Live Guarantee
Coverage: 6-month live guarantee. Nobody in the industry matches this.
If YoCamron's maintenance team installs the livestock in an aquarium we service at least twice a month, that animal is covered for six months.
We can offer this because we control every variable: we chose the animal, we quarantined it, we placed it, and we are in the tank twice a month maintaining the water it lives in. When we own the whole chain, we stand behind it for half a year.

Filing a claim
Contact us within your coverage window with your order number, clear photo or video of the animal, and your current water parameters. Claims outside the applicable window cannot be honored.
