4-Line Pimelodella

Pimelodella catfish carry barbels long enough to trail past the base of the tail — proportionally some of the longest whiskers in the catfish world — giving them a wide sensory reach for probing the turbid, low-visibility water where they do most of their foraging. This four-striped form is a peaceable group forager, most active once the lights go down. A solid low-key addition for community tanks around the Danbury and New Milford area.
