Albino Glowlight Tetra (Hemigrammus erythrozonus)
Glowlight tetras get that signature stripe from carotenoid pigments deposited along the lateral line, but the albino form knocks out melanin production entirely, so you lose the dark body tone and end up with a nearly translucent pink-white fish with the glowing orange stripe as the only real color note. It's a true genetic variant, not a dye, and every bit as easy as the standard glowlight. Shoal them in a real group and that thin orange line becomes the visual anchor of the whole tank.
Care level: Easy · Temperament: Peaceful, shoaling · Max size: ~1.5" · Min tank: 15 gal · Diet: Omnivore, flake/micro-pellet
