The Aquatic Life Carbon Plus Chloramine Block Cartridge is a 10-inch block carbon cartridge specifically formulated to remove both chlorine AND chloramines from tap water. Standard carbon cartridges only target chlorine — but most modern municipal water suppliers now use chloramines as a disinfectant, which require a dedicated carbon block to remove. Chloramines that pass through standard filtration will stress fish, inhibit coral polyp extension, and destroy the biological filtration in your RO/DI system. This cartridge fits all standard 10" filter housings used in RO/DI systems.
