Botia Lohachata
Young Botia lohachata wear a pattern distinctive enough to name the fish: juvenile stripes broken up in a way that reads almost like the letters Y-O-Y-O spelled down each flank, though it fades and reorganizes into blotches with age. Like its clown loach cousins it carries a folding spine beneath each eye, plus a habit of mock-wrestling with tankmates of its own kind — social sparring, not real aggression.
Care level: Easy · Temperament: Peaceful, shoaling · Max size: ~5" · Min tank: 40 gal · Diet: Omnivore, sinking pellets + snails
