Cambodian Roundtail Female Betta (Betta splendens)
Same Cambodian genetics as the male version, a pigment-stripping mutation that leaves the body pale while the fins carry the actual color, just expressed on a female's shorter, rounder fin set. It's one of the oldest recorded betta color patterns, predating the fancy hybrid lines bred purely for finnage. Sorority-compatible with her own kind, though she'll still need real space and cover for a pecking order to settle peacefully.
Care level: Easy · Temperament: Peaceful (semi-aggressive in groups) · Max size: ~2.5" · Min tank: 5 gal (10+ for a sorority) · Diet: Carnivore, betta pellets + frozen
