Copper Power Freshwater is a stable, chelated copper solution specifically formulated for treating external parasites in freshwater aquariums. Chelated copper remains bioavailable at a therapeutic concentration for longer than ionic copper, providing sustained parasite control without the dramatic concentration spikes that can stress fish. It is highly effective against Ich (Ichthyophthirius multifiliis), velvet (Oodinium), and other common freshwater external parasites. Unlike ionic copper, chelated copper can be used in soft water without the dosing instability that makes ionic copper dangerous in low-hardness tanks. Not for use with invertebrates.
