Electric Green GLO Pristella Tetra (Pristella maxillaris)

The base fish here is Pristella maxillaris, the naturally translucent "X-ray tetra," which makes it an interesting canvas for the GloFish fluorescent gene, that inserted protein glows through a body that's already partly see-through to begin with. The heritable green color traces back to the same zebrafish pollution-biosensor research behind the whole GloFish line. Every bit as hardy and easy as a standard pristella.
