Gold White Cloud Minnow (Tanichthys albonubes)
Same cold-tolerant Tanichthys albonubes biology as the standard white cloud, comfortable in an unheated tank at room temperature, just carrying a golden color line instead of the wild-type olive-silver. It's a genuine captive color selection, not a different species, and every bit as hardy as the fish that got discovered on a Chinese mountainside in the 1930s. Sold in groups of 12 or more for a shoal that actually reads as a school from day one.
Care level: Easy · Temperament: Peaceful, shoaling · Max size: ~1.5" · Min tank: 10 gal · Diet: Omnivore, flake/micro-pellet
