Green Bubble Tip Anemone (Entacmaea quadricolor)
Entacmaea quadricolor gets its common name from tentacle tips that balloon into bulb shapes under strong light and flow — thought to be a way of packing more photosynthetic zooxanthellae into less surface area when conditions are good, though the tips can go slender again if light drops. It's also one of the few anemones that reproduces asexually by splitting itself in half, so a single green BTA can slowly clone itself into a colony without ever needing a mate. Give it time to find its preferred spot; once settled, it makes one of the most reliable natural clownfish hosts in the hobby.
Care level: Moderate · Light: High · Flow: Moderate-high · Placement: Will relocate itself to preferred spot
