Hygrophila Pinnatifida Tissue Culture
Hygrophila pinnatifida stands apart from other Hygrophilas with its deeply lobed, fern-like leaves in olive-brown to bronze-red, and a unique ability to be attached to wood and rock like an epiphyte. It sends out low side shoots that creep across hardscape, making it wonderfully versatile in the midground. Good light and a little CO2 bring out the warmest coloration.
Care level: Moderate · Placement: Midground/Epiphyte (on wood/rock) · Lighting: Medium-High · CO2: Beneficial · Growth rate: Moderate · Propagation: side shoots
