Long-Fin Paleatus Corydoras
Corydoras paleatus was one of the very first catfish ever kept in home aquariums, imported to Europe back in the 1870s, which makes this long-fin strain a direct descendant of literally the fish that helped invent the bottom-feeder category. Paleatus tolerates a wider temperature swing than most tropical corys too, a holdover from its native range in Argentina's cooler southern waters.
