Longfin Rosy Barb (Pethia conchonius)
Pethia conchonius males flush a deep rose-pink in breeding condition, a genuine color shift rather than a fixed trait, carried here on a long-fin line with trailing dorsal and caudal fins beyond the standard proportions. It's one of the hardier, more cold-tolerant barbs in the trade, comfortable across a wider temperature range than most tropical schoolers. Peaceful for the family and a great community schooler with a bit of extra fin flair.
Care level: Easy · Temperament: Peaceful, shoaling · Max size: ~3.5" · Min tank: 20 gal · Diet: Omnivore, flake/pellet
