Ludwigia glandulosa is treasured for its narrow, pointed leaves that turn deep burgundy, purple, and even near-black under high light and lean nitrates. It's a slower, more deliberate grower than most Ludwigias, holding a tidy form as it colors up. One of the best plants for adding dark, dramatic reds to the midground or background.
