Mock Blenny

The Mock Blenny's whole survival strategy is borrowed identity: it copies the coloring of venomous fang blennies in the genus Meiacanthus closely enough that predators who've learned to avoid the real thing steer clear of the impostor too, despite the Mock Blenny having no venom or fangs of its own. Textbook Batesian mimicry, running on a reef instead of in a butterfly field guide.
