Moonlight Gourami (Trichopodus microlepis)
Trichopodus microlepis runs an almost featureless pale silver-green over its whole body, no bold stripe or spot pattern, which is exactly the quiet, moonlit quality the common name is going for. It's actually one of the larger gouramis in this lineup once fully grown, closer in size to the three-spot varieties than the small dwarf and honey species. A calm, understated centerpiece that lets the tank's plants and other fish do more of the visual work.
