Neon Green Finger Leather Coral (Sinularia sp.)
Finger leathers get their structure from a tough, collagen-rich mesoglea inside each branch, different from the calcium carbonate skeleton of a stony coral, which is why the whole colony can flex and sway instead of holding rigid. This one runs a saturated neon green and extends its polyps aggressively once acclimated, turning what looks like a bare rubbery branch during the day into a fully feathered colony under good flow. One of the easier soft corals to keep alive through a beginner's early mistakes.
Care level: Easy · Light/Flow/Placement: Moderate light, moderate flow, mid-to-top tank · Max size: 6-8" across, fast growth · Diet: Photosynthetic, no target feeding required
