Neon (Turquoise) Dwarf Gourami (Trichogaster lalius) - Male
A vivid turquoise color line bred from Trichogaster lalius, pushing the species' usual red-and-blue diagonal striping into a single saturated cyan-blue tone, shown here as a mature male in full color. Same small size and low tank footprint as any dwarf gourami, and worth a visible quarantine period before adding to a display given known viral disease issues in mass-farmed imports of this species. A genuinely eye-catching centerpiece once cleared.
Care level: Easy · Temperament: Peaceful, semi-territorial with own kind · Max size: ~3.5" · Min tank: 15 gal · Diet: Omnivore, flake/pellet + frozen
