Red Coffee Pacman Frog (Ceratophrys cranwelli)
The "coffee" designation refers to a line-bred color strain that swaps the usual green-and-tan mottling for a deep reddish-brown wash across the whole body, closer to the color of wet bark than anything a wild-type Pacman frog wears. Underneath the paint job it's the same ambush specialist as every other Ceratophrys — a mouth built to swallow prey nearly its own size and a general life philosophy of not moving unless something edible gets close enough to strike.
Care level: Easy · Temperament: Solitary, will eat similarly-sized tankmates · Max size: ~4-6" · Min enclosure: 10 gal terrarium · Diet: Carnivore, appropriately-sized insects/rodents
