Red Wolf Fish
Bright, high-contrast coloration in the animal kingdom is usually a prey-side warning signal — toxic, don't eat me — which makes it a little unusual to see that same bold red-orange on an apex ambush predator like this wolf fish, where it's serving no obvious defensive purpose. It's just a striking look on a fish that spends most of its life doing the opposite of standing out, lurking motionless in cover until something wanders past.
