Tank-Raised Panda Corydoras
The panda cory's black eye patches aren't just cute — they likely serve the same function as a football player's eye black, cutting glare and helping mask the eye from predators looking to strike the most vulnerable spot on a small fish. It's also one of the more cold-tolerant Corydoras, native to cooler Peruvian foothill streams, so it doesn't demand the tropical extremes some other species do.
