Tiger Stripe Silver Dollar

Another color form within the same piranha-related Serrasalmidae family, this one carrying a bolder striped pattern than the plain or wide-bar silver dollar lines, while sharing the exact same shredding dentition turned toward plant matter instead of flesh. Live aquatic plants don't survive long in a tank with these, budget for that when planning the setup rather than after the fact. Peaceful with other fish and best kept in a proper group for natural shoaling behavior.
