Watermelon Pleco L330

This pleco's round, deep-bodied build is its own kind of crevice adaptation: wedged into a rock crack or pipe, it braces locked pectoral and dorsal spines against the opening, making it remarkably difficult to dislodge by force. That watermelon-rind mottling does double duty as camouflage against mossy rockwork in the rivers it calls home. A fun, hardy conversation piece for larger tanks around the New Milford area.
