White Orchid Crowntail Male Betta (Betta splendens)
White orchid combines a pigment-reducing gene with the crowntail mutation's receded webbing, so instead of the usual saturated color filling in between each spiky ray, you get a ghost-white fish where the ray structure itself does all the visual work. It's a genuinely tricky combination to breed clean, since selecting hard for pale color and hard for extreme ray reduction can each destabilize the other. Solo housing, as with every male we carry.
Care level: Easy · Temperament: Aggressive toward other bettas · Max size: ~3" · Min tank: 5 gal · Diet: Carnivore, betta pellets + frozen
