Yasha Hase Shrimp Goby (Stonogobiops yasha)

The Yasha Hase is the shrimp goby most people picture when they picture a shrimp goby: white body, bold black bars, a sail-like yellow-tipped dorsal fin held permanently at attention. It hovers noticeably higher above its burrow than most of its relatives, which makes for great visibility, and it keeps the usual arrangement with a pistol shrimp, one digs, one watches, and a tail-flick sends them both diving for cover.
