Yellow Cherry Shrimp (Neocaridina davidi)

Yellow is a straightforward color mutation off the same Neocaridina davidi line as the red cherry shrimp, just missing the genes that build red pigment and expressing a bright gold-yellow instead. Cross a yellow with a red in the same tank and you'll get a mixed-color next generation fast — a good reminder that these "different" shrimp are really one interbreeding species wearing different paint.
