Amano Shrimp (Caridina multidentata)

Same species as the Japonica shrimp a few shelves over — Caridina multidentata, the algae-clearing workhorse Takashi Amano made famous — just graded smaller here. Smaller size means a lower price per shrimp if you're stocking a big cleanup crew, without giving up any of the appetite for hair algae.
