Assorted Freshwater Angelfish (Pterophyllum scalare)
Pterophyllum scalare didn't get flattened into that classic diamond shape by accident — in the wild it slides sideways between submerged roots and stems, using the compression as camouflage while it stalks smaller prey. This assorted batch is net-caught and unsorted, so every individual carries its own mix of striping and shimmer, and pairs will find each other on their own once they mature.
Care level: Moderate · Temperament: Semi-aggressive, peaceful when young · Max size: ~6" · Min tank: 30 gal · Diet: Omnivore, flake/pellet + frozen
