Black Emperor Tetra (Nematobrycon palmeri)

Same Nematobrycon palmeri body plan and same trailing caudal-fin extension on mature males as the standard emperor tetra, just built on a darker base tone that mutes the purple-gold sheen into something more understated. It reads as a different fish across a room but it's the identical Colombian species underneath, right down to the deliberate, unhurried way it moves through a school. A solid pick if you want the emperor's calm presence without the brighter color drawing every eye.
