Brightwell Aquatics PhosphatE Liquid Phosphate Remover

Brightwell Aquatics PhosphatE is a liquid lanthanum chloride-based phosphate precipitant for reef aquariums with elevated phosphate (PO₄). Lanthanum binds phosphate on contact and drops it out of solution as a fine precipitate your mechanical filtration can export. It's fast-acting — measurable reduction within hours — but needs to be dosed carefully, diluted thoroughly, and dripped in slowly to avoid crashing phosphate so rapidly that it stresses corals. Best used as a targeted treatment rather than a daily additive. Run adequate mechanical filtration (filter sock, roller mat) to export the precipitate it generates.
