Christmas Moss
Christmas Moss (Vesicularia montagnei) earns its name from fronds that branch in overlapping, triangular tiers resembling tiny fir trees. Attached to wood or rock, it grows into a lush, draping wall or carpet that shrimp adore for grazing and cover. A little more particular than Java Moss, it looks its best with gentle flow and regular trimming to keep its Christmas-tree shape.
Care level: Easy-Moderate · Placement: Epiphyte (on wood/rock) · Lighting: Low-Medium · CO2: Beneficial · Growth rate: Slow-Moderate · Propagation: division
