Chrysurus Angelfish (Pomacanthus chrysurus)
Chrysurus Angelfish carry a deep blue body set off by a bold, unmistakable yellow tail that gives the species its name — chrysurus literally translates to "golden tail." Like the rest of the large Pomacanthus angels, it grows a hidden defensive spine on the gill plate and spends its juvenile phase looking almost nothing like the adult it's becoming. A stunning, hardy centerpiece once it's grown into that adult coloring.
