Clown Barb (Barbodes everetti)

Barbodes everetti runs a chunkier, deeper body than most barbs in the trade, with bold black bars breaking up an orange-red base color, more centerpiece fish than background schooler despite technically being built for group living. It handles a bigger community tank well and doesn't carry the nippy reputation some smaller barbs do, though its size means it needs real room to look and act its best. A nice change of pace as a focal point in a larger setup.
