Corydoras Bondi
Bondi's cory is one of the more recently described members of a genus that already numbers over 170 species — taxonomists are still sorting out exactly where the lines between similar-looking Corydoras fall, since so much of the identification comes down to subtle spotting patterns and geographic collection points rather than anything visible from across the tank. What is obvious is the behavior: constant group foraging, whiskers sweeping the substrate, never straying far from the shoal.
Care level: Easy · Temperament: Peaceful, shoaling · Max size: ~2" · Min tank: 20 gal · Diet: Omnivore, sinking pellets + occasional live/frozen
