Green Brittle Star (Ophiarachna incrassata)
Same fast, lever-like arm locomotion as its black-bodied cousin, just running a vivid green instead — and just as quick to disappear into rockwork the second the lights come on. Larger green brittle stars have a well-earned reputation as opportunistic hunters at night, so while it's a fine addition to most reef tanks, very small fish sleeping out in the open aren't entirely off the menu.
Care level: Easy · Temperament: Peaceful (opportunistic at night) · Max size: ~10" arm span · Min tank: 20 gal · Reef safe: Yes (caution with very small fish) · Diet: Scavenger, detritus/meaty foods
