Lagun Glow Goniopora
Goniopora polyps never really stop moving, which is exactly the appeal and exactly the problem — that constant motion demands a lot of energy, and this genus has a well-earned reputation for being one of the tougher long-term keepers in the LPS world even when everything looks fine on the surface. This one's got a soft glow under actinic lighting that makes the swaying polyp mat look almost bioluminescent after lights-out. It rewards patience and stable, mature reef parameters far more than it rewards a beginner's tank.
Care level: Moderate-difficult · Light/Flow/Placement: Moderate light, low-moderate flow, bottom-to-mid tank · Max size: Expanding polyp mat, several inches · Diet: Photosynthetic, fine particulate feeding
