Maculiceps Tang (Acanthurus maculiceps)

Acanthurus maculiceps gets its "freckled-face" nickname from a scatter of small dark spots across an otherwise plain gray head, a subtle marking most people miss until the fish is right up against the glass. It's an uncommon species in the trade, grazing algae film across live rock the same way its more famous relatives do, just with a lot less fanfare.
