Mustard Tang

The Mustard Tang trades the loud blues and blacks of its Acanthurus relatives for a warm, muted mustard-yellow that reads almost matte in reef lighting — a genuinely understated look in a family known for being the opposite. It grazes turf algae as steadily as any tang and settles into a mixed-species system with a noticeably calmer temperament than most.
