Mystery Machine Goniopora Frag
Goniopora has a reputation in this hobby, and it's earned: gorgeous, constantly-waving polyps on long stalks, and a long history of slowly wasting away in systems that look perfectly healthy on paper. Nobody's fully nailed down why — leading theories point to trace element demands and sensitivity to swings most other LPS shrug off. This frag's got the sway and the color that make people take the risk anyway, in a mixed palette that catches the eye across the tank. Stable, mature reef chemistry is non-negotiable here.
Care level: Moderate-difficult · Light/Flow/Placement: Moderate light, low-moderate flow, bottom-to-mid tank · Max size: Frag, will expand its polyp mat over time · Diet: Photosynthetic, benefits from fine particulate feeding
