Neon Green Spaghetti Soft Coral (Nephthea sp.)
Nephthea's long, thin, constantly-waving branches are exactly where the spaghetti nickname comes from, and unlike the stiffer toadstools and finger leathers, this genus stays soft and flexible enough to move with even minor current instead of just its polyps. It's also one of the less predictable soft corals long-term — some specimens thrive for years, others decline for reasons that don't always show up in water tests, which is part of why it has a mixed reputation among soft coral keepers. This one's bright neon green and actively extended, a good sign in a coral known for occasionally sulking.
