Neon Ultra Green Moon Favia Coral
Favia gets the moon-coral nickname from its cratered surface — each polyp sits in its own distinct corallite, giving the colony a pitted, almost lunar texture instead of the smooth dome you'd see on a true brain coral. This one runs an intense neon green that practically glows under actinic spectrum once the polyps are fully puffed out during the day. Like most faviids it's territorial at night, extending sweeper tentacles to stake a claim on the surrounding rock, so leave it room to expand.
Care level: Easy · Light/Flow/Placement: Low-moderate light, low-moderate flow, bottom-to-mid tank with space from neighbors · Max size: 4-6"+ colony · Diet: Photosynthetic, benefits from occasional meaty feeding
